Amelia Collins was crowned Miss New York 2023 in June of this year. Amelia is an advocate for her personal Community Service Initiative: POWHER, Promoting Women's Health as an Entitled Right. She currently works with the organization For Women By Women Period to end period poverty in New York City. Amelia has also been pursuing a BS in Biology and Public at New York University with dreams of obtaining her Doctor of Medicine Degree and becoming a Pediatric Oncologist. Collins is more than a student and an advocate; she is also a professional dancer trained in Ballet, Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, and performance. Amelia hopes to one day perform as a backup dancer with professional artists.
