Award Winning Mixed Media Artist
Chanell Angeli, a mixed media artist of Caribbean descent residing in Atlanta, Georgia, started her artistic journey amidst the George Floyd protest. The desire she felt to express and create art soon became an unyielding obligation to herself to explore the inner mechanism of her creative and ancestral consciousness. From small works to large-scale projects, Chanell’s art is a highly personal reflection. She’s been lucky enough to have participated in many collaborative projects such as a group Mural at the Atlanta Contemporary Museum, winning the 2021 Ad Art Show, as well as exhibiting in a solo capacity, which has solidified her reputation in the art world. Through the use of natural materials such as metal and wood, Chanell focuses on creating three-dimensional pieces that channel the universe and touch the soul. Her heritage comes through strongly in her work, with her use of tropical floral and images of people who remind her of her childhood.
Chanell’s work is currently on display in Los Angeles at Dab Art Co and Future Dead Artist Exhibition in Atlanta Ga.
